Today was a fun, but long track meet.  For the mile I ran in the slower heat and I consistently stayed in third the whole race.  During the third lap, for some whatever reason I thought the race was finishing, so I sprinted the last 400 meters of the third lap like an idiot.  I took third in my heat behind Josh Gibb, which was personally disappointing to me, but it just added fuel to the fire and I'm going to hammer these upcoming workouts and hopefully have a good outcome on friday and future meets to come.  My current goal is to race in the fast heat and not be the last Desert Hills kid to cross the finish before the season is over.  I'm excited to get going!

Nice job on your races today. Good things to build on.
